      Description

      I am trying to register Freeswitch into an Ericsson/Broadsoft IMS network. configuration for gateway is this:

      <include>
      <gateway name="telus2">
      <param name="proxy" value="IP ADDR" />
      <param name="register" value="true" />
      <param name="from-user" value="+15874809450"/>
      <param name="from-domain" value="ims.nghp.mnc221.mcc302.3gppnetwork.org"/>
      <param name="sip_contact_user" value="+15874809450"/>
      <param name="extension-in-contact" value="true"/>
      <param name="username" value="+15874809450"/>
      <param name="auth-username" value="+15874809450@ims.nghp.mnc221.mcc302.3gppnetwork.org"/>
      <param name="password" value="PSW"/>
      <param name="realm" value="ims.nghp.mnc221.mcc302.3gppnetwork.org"/>
      <param name="caller-id-in-from" value="true"/>
      </gateway>
      </include>

      Once a SIP REGISTER is received from IMS, it challenges Freeswitch to provide credentials, and once that happened, registration is rejected with Bad header field: authorization [400]. See attached file.

      I have two questions about this:
      1. From first SIP REGISTER, Freeswitch is sending Authorization field even when it is not challeged yet. is it a way to configure it to avoid that?
      2. After SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized received from IMS, it is providing two Authorization DIgests fields. is this correct?

      Thanks for your help.
