      Description

      Hi, I have a computer with a dynamic ip address and freeswitch installed, every time the IP address change then I restart a freeswitch profile, I called that: internal-nat.

      It was working fine, but since yesterday, the script that stop and start the profile stop to work.

      So doing the restart by hand gave that FS can not start the profile:

      The error is the following:

      2015-02-09 11:05:54.774509 [ERR] sofia.c:2855 Error Creating SIP UA for profile: internal-nat (sip:mod_sofia@190.254.49.151:5070;maddr=172.26.98.187;transport=udp,tcp) ATTEMPT 3 (RETRY IN 5 SEC)
      2015-02-09 11:05:54.774509 [ERR] sofia.c:2865 Error Creating SIP UA for profile: internal-nat (sip:mod_sofia@190.254.49.151:5070;maddr=172.26.98.187;transport=udp,tcp)
      The likely causes for this are:
      1) Another application is already listening on the specified address.
      2) The IP the profile is attempting to bind to is not local to this system.

      So let's investagate the causes.

      When I do a `netstst -nlp | grep freeswitch` that give me:

      tcp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5060 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 4437/freeswitch
      tcp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5070 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 4437/freeswitch
      tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8021 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 4437/freeswitch
      tcp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5080 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 4437/freeswitch
      udp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5060 0.0.0.0:* 4437/freeswitch
      udp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5070 0.0.0.0:* 4437/freeswitch
      udp 0 0 172.26.98.187:5080 0.0.0.0:* 4437/freeswitch

      In fact the profile I want to use try to bind to 5070 port which according to the process is already in use.

      However when I list the profiles under freeswitch I got:

      sofia status
      Name Type Data State
      =================================================================================================
      external profile sip:mod_sofia@190.254.49.151:5080 RUNNING (0)
      external::example.com gateway sip:joeuser@example.com NOREG
      internal profile sip:mod_sofia@172.26.98.187:5060 RUNNING (0)
      =================================================================================================
      2 profiles 0 aliases

      There is no internal-nat profile there, but the process still appears under the system, and so the only way to fix it is to kill the main freeswitch process.

      What do you thing happened here ? and how we can fix that ?

      Thanks.
