      Description

      1. FS sends a FAX call to an Avaya IP Office server
      2. IP office sends back a T38 v0 re-INVITE
      3. FS responds with 200 OK (looks like there are t38 missing params)
      4. IP office ends the call with BYE (Incompatible destination)

Avaya should NOT be putting this in "m=audio 0 RTP/AVP 9 0 8 18 101" the re-invite, Is there anyway they can NOT doing that? We worked hard to NOT send ours like that because it breaks many devices out there.

From Avaya: "I have followed up on the IB Fax Calls issue. Unfortunately, it is not configurable in IP Office system to remove the “m=audio 0 RTP/AVP 9 0 8 18 101” in the re-invite. We can not do anything about."

Is there anything we can do on the FS side?
Are we 100% sure Avaya is breaking the protocol with their behavior?

We are still looking at this, I will keep you posted, I've never seen any device do that on a t.38 reinvite so its suspect, Maybe its why Avaya went bankrupt LOL just kidding.
